Gandalf the White will probably see the most play in Tales of Middle-earth casual decks for that very reason, and more limited play elsewhere
However, if you have an extremely slow deck or one that builds up massive defenses, going for the kill by running your opponent out of cards can be realistic
If you zoom out far enough, the current price decline looks like a normal correction after an abnormal spike
I'm sure this ends up biting me in the butt every once in a while, but because I'm not relying on a gigantic Hydroid Krasis I can usually get away with it, along with playing more copies of Paradise Druid than the normal build because of that yummy hexproof
Then that land deals 1 damage to that player
From what I can tell, black hasnt been seeing a lot of play in standard recently, with Mono Green Aggro and Izzet Epiphany taking most of the top spots, but Sorin could swing that all back around
