This rod has a pleasant medium action. It's used but very well cared for. The western style grip has some soiling but otherwise I probably would have called this rod mint. The ferrules are good and tight and all rod sections are straight. 3 up node pattern construction. As with all Winston rods of this period, it exhibits superior "build quality" perfect
