Hardy Brass Faced Perfect Reel 4" 7'9" An excellent piece of historyA very nice Hardy Brass Faced Perfect salmon reel, 4" diameter and set up for the typical RHW. The reel boasts the 1904 design with the improved ratchet pawl, which Hardy introduced to strengthen the pawl with a stronger steel bridge. This reel still has the "C" spring flush against the frame, however, which Hardy would soon orient perpendicularly. Excellent overall condition, with normal cosmetic wear but free of any major defects that I could find.
