Who actually made the reels is still up for debate. This reel is in excellent condition and a fine example of the reel. Mechanically, it operates smoothly as it should. Right hand retrieve. The drag provides plenty of resistance for a four weight reel. The smooth brass foot is full length. The reel weighs 5. 45 oz. The spool width is 5 8". Don't miss
