Sugarloaf Rock - SuRk17 driftwood In between Canal Rocks andSugarloaf Rock looking its best in the fresh light of an early morning. Distinctive by its shape, this conical shaped rock resembles an old fashioned sugarloaf, hence the name Sugarloaf Rock. This large granite island is separated from the mainland by a small treacherous strip of water. When the swell is in full force swimming is not an option however on a really calm day it is an excellent place for divers.
