Gastrointestinal symptoms are the most common manifestations of tirzepatide overdose and may include: Severe nausea and vomiting : Often persistent and more intense than typical side effects, potentially leading to inability to retain fluids or medications Abdominal pain or cramping : May range from mild discomfort to severe pain, typically in the upper abdomen Diarrhea : Can contribute to dehydration and electrolyte imbalances Loss of appetite : Complete aversion to food, extending beyond normal appetite suppression Metabolic disturbances requiring medical attention: Hypoglycemia : Symptoms include trembling, sweating, rapid heartbeat, confusion, dizziness, hunger, irritability, and in severe cases, loss of consciousness or seizures
