Barrmarrany Miingi (Family Spirit) | Limited Edition Paper Print Size:42 x 60 cm (A2) Gentle iron'Barrmarrany Miingi' (Family Spirit) Archival ink on 315gsm smooth cotton paper Signed Edition of 15 This artwork is my interpretation of Northern Gumbaynggirr Country, my grandmothers country. It represents my elders and their childhoods growing up on Gumbaynggirr Country before they were taken by government officials and placed in orphanages. My mum was 1 of 14 siblings, all stolen from their loving mother & father as part of the stolen generation.
