1930s Monochrome Chevron Pattern Tulle Dress vintage_black_dress WAIST - 96An unusual and original 1930s tulle black and white dress which reminds me of the work of Gabriel Chanel and the great American designer Elizabeth Hawes. We have referenced Chanel's 1936 design here. This dress is unlabelled although American made and despite extensive research, I have been unable to ascertain who designed this. With a bateau neckline, the monochrome banding is horizontal on the bodice and has a chevron appearance on the skirt element
