It takes a bit of repetition to nab every last card, since the Booster Pack contents are obviously random, but at least it's no longer a case of "Gotta buy 'em all!" It won't get the recognition of the mainline Pokmon games or even those Mystery Dungeon curiosities
Pair it with a wheel effect or a big draw spell at the table and it can get ridiculous fast
Once a land drop is missed, the effect of Esper Sentinel can be absolutely game crushing by letting your opponent draw cards and run away with the game quickly
You can add to your collection using code cards from Pokmon card packs youve physically bought (or at least the code cards that come with them) or in-game using currency that youve earned
This is a lot of potential extra cards, and if were playing a Crush of Tentacles deck, well hopefully consider the bouncing to be upside, too
Disregarding the fact that those monsters shouldn't be used anyway, the owner needs to have them on hand, which is already bad
