There just arent many cards like Embercleave or Torbran, Then of Red Fell than do that much damage out of nowhere (and both require a prior board presence)

One of the best cards that I pulled that was an easy fit was Miraidon , a holo-rare Basic Pokmon that requires Lightning Energy and hits pretty hard

That leads me to another gripe: itd be nice to be able to choose a Starter Deck like in some of the other games

If you do something really strong but as a fluke, chances are players wont be as hard on you on the swing-back

To win against Blastoise, it is recommended to play a deck with Electric Pokmon
