These oversize cards are usually bundled up in special boxes of the Pokemon TCG and some will eventually go up in price depending on the Pokemon depicted and how well you have maintained its condition

None of this is to say that they cannot win, and it certainly doesn't mean they can't be fun
As far as historically correct rules are concerned, every rulebook from Alpha to 4th Edition have sections encouraging house rules, so using the current rules of Magic 2014 could be seen as our house rules ;)
