If you've constructed a gate deck that mostly plays at instant speed, you must know Seedborn Muse and Wilderness Reclamation as cards that give you access to mana on your opponents' turns
Its a shame theyre not draftable, but if Assassins Creed is any indication, theyre not really being designed with Draft in mind anyway, and thats fine
Sure, your opponent gets too as well, but if youre dropping a creature with an exceptionally powerful enter the battlefield trigger, like Atraxa, Grand Unifier, a creature that is practically unstoppable like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, or an enchantment that gives you free rein to do whatever you like Omniscience, you basically guaranteed a win
Theres a definite market for them
While Phantom Dive only deals 200 damage, its ability to place six damage counters onto the bench allows the deck to take four prizes during the next turn, and its 310 HP makes it hard for most opponents to knock it out in one turn
But if you are going in heavily on a vehicles theme then these two abilities form an extremely consistent and efficient resource engine, and one which basically guarantees youll have other vehicles around to fuel your other synergies around the card type
