Some familiar faces will show up but as an alternate version with different stats or abilities than they had in The First Chapter

I know Id buy a box of New Phyrexia or Lorwyn for aesthetic purposes alone if I had the resources

The starter decks coming with Archazia's Island are not necessarily competitive right out of the gate, but they do come with some good cards that may eventually make the cut in a powerful deck
