Most competitive lists run exactly 60 to keep their draws consistent
During the Beginning phase, players ready their cards, any effects in play that begin at the start of a turn take effect, and players draw a card from their deck
In 2026, the theoretical limit is over 200 cards (based on current card variety), but you should always stay at 60
During the Main Phase, a player can use the cards in their hand and in the play area to take various actions
Additionally, depending on their abilities, moving characters to a location may offer benefits, and some locations have abilities of their own
While forcing your opponent to discard a card at random is almost always an advantage, there are other less expensive cards that can do this, and requiring your opponent to have the trigger of a damaged character first means this part of the ability does not make up for the rest of the card
