The ability text is a bit overwhelming, so lets break it down

Each instant and sorcery card in your graveyard gains flashback until end of turn

Its not really just a 4/4 smasher, and the fact that it cant even attack for one when you dont have a spell makes it very much a wall most of the time

It is great in control where it gives you great security, it is great in agro where it offers powerful tempo swings and it is great in combo where it allows you to force through spells and protect combo pieces while also going off at top speed

It included some of the Commander all-stars, like Jeweled Lotus, and some gorgeous alt-art treatments, but it also played it somewhat safe with cards that really didnt need reprinting

In a shocking departure from the norm, this card is also on the Reserved List
