Khans limited was a fairly slow format and while the banners ramped you as opposed to the fixing the monuments provide, it comes as a lower cost and exchanges for a threat at all times whereas the banners didn't always translate to gas

The back half of this can draw some serious cards if an opponent tries to stop you from doing some sort of combo
