At first I didn't like the once per turn restriction either (everyone was mad about Morbid Opportunist) but I've grown on it as a design knob

It maxes out at one extra card per turn, so there's no real getting away with anything going on here

Trim out invites and assemble after printing

With more card draw, you can control games with cards like Organic Extinction, play huge spells like Wake the Past, and get your big creatures and planeswalkers like Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Ugin, Eye of the Storms more reliably

So, don't play this in place of a counterspell because it's not the same thing

I dont have any plans at the moment to do more of these
