When playing a Mana Flare for my own benefit, I usually prefer to pair it with an extra turn effect or a splashy spell that gives me a lot of options like Time Stretch or Apex of Power
Whenever a creature with power 2 or less enters the battlefield under your control, you get to draw a cardbut only once per turn, so timing matters
This lets you have a variety of decks to match against different power expectations, or to supply decks for a standard 4 player Commander game
There are already a few exciting combos in standard, historic, modern, and commander formats that all look to be very easy to execute and thus make Minion of the Mighty a very attractive card to buy
For every 5C deck looking to optimize their lands, I always recommend running as many dual lands and fetch lands as you're willing to spend, and supplement the gaps with City of Brass, Mana Confluence, Reflecting Pool, checklands, and some basic lands
I'm putting Dread Presence in all my Mono Black decks, no doubt
