Schoenhut Humpty Dumpty Circus Props - Pair of Ladders bird shaped whistle at a recent estate saleInitially founded to make toy pianos, the Schoenhut Piano Company, based in Philadelphia, debuted its Humpty Dumpty Circus in 1903, and I do believe it was the best thing they ever made not just for the clowns and animals, but also, and maybe especially, for the circus furniture! I really love the ladders, which I've found make great stands for little animals when laid on their sides and, with nicely aged old white painted surfaces, are just
