There is not a whole lot out there about Renate Scheer Kalkofen (1935-2013) who created this print as well as several others I am listing from around the same time

There is a bit of a gap between one back leg and the main body where the nails have come out a bit

And quite a lovely graphic pattern of red diamonds against white with one blue stripe at top and bottom

Red White and Blue Old Handmade Humpty Dumpty Doll old slate immediately recognizable around the worldI've had a few home sewn Humpty Dumpty over the years, but it has been a while, and this one is my favorite, looking pretty patriotic in red, white and blue though to me with a bit of a French spirit to those colors! The periwinkle blue and cream are felt, the stripes silk I believe, plus cut felt features, a ruffle with fancy edging, red and black ribbons, and a bunch of red yarn poofs for hair or hat. Stuffed but not very much, making it a good one
