Charming Old Iron Cutout Orange Painted Bird on Post daisy and the rider in whitePerhaps this wonderful painted sheet iron cutout bird was once the topper on a weathervane? I am not entirely sure, but in any case it's a pretty fabulous thing, with the orange paint perfectly aged and weathered to give it almost a marbleized look set off by the rich black. I really think the silhouette could not be better either, with that beak open to sign toward the sky! I am not sure the age but certainly old. In great shape, with the iron giving
