Had I not seen the label, I might well have guessed I was enjoying a Napa Cabernet costing at least twice as much. The wine opens with a stylish bouquet of cassis, iris, and gently ripened black and blueberry fruit. The complex, layered fruit is bright and alluring on the palate, supported by firm, crisp, and fresh tannins.
