Max Yerxa Bamboo Fly Rod 8'6" 2/2 #5 6'6" The full wells grip isA rare Max Yerxa bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 line. I've come across very few of these rods over the years, they very rarely come to market. Yerxa worked at the EC Powell shop for a few years and his rods carry that strong influence. The rod weighs 4. 8 ounces on my scale and is hollow built. On the shaft "8 1 2 Stream Rod #5 Line", "Yerxa Rod", and "Colusa, CA" are faintly inked. Excellent very lightly used condition.
