I was sold on these blocks before I even opened the box: first for the great lithographed graphics on the lid

visible when viewed from above

I believe it is an old cabinet door upon which this painting was painted in make do fashion

but I've been admiring old Buddhist spiritual drawings of late and keeping an eye out for antique hand-drawn and painted examples on paper--so was thrilled to find this beautiful mandala

Beautiful Primitive Antique Stool with Crate Wood Sides and Old Green Paint milk bottles I was sold on theseI've always got an eye out for old stools that would make beautiful pedestals for object arrangements, and this is very much one of those aged and weathered to perfection but, happily, the amazing old chippy green paint still hanging on to it is barely if at all chipping off any more. The sides were made of crate wood, with the name Guggenheim appearing on one side, for Guggenheim & Company which I've found on a few antique fruit crates. Great old
