It's a bit of a challenge to determine exactly which forms are original to this box vs acquired from another similar at some point along the way--as is often the case

I think it is possible that this is a fly whisk or a horsetail whisk brush

Curious Hand-tinted Tintype of Photograph of Young Man Pinned to Wall butterly man 3 7/8" tall x 3As I've written before I really love a photograph of a photograph, and have never come across another tintype like this one, which seems positively post modern as it captures what looks to to be a cdv or cabinet card type photo in situ, pinned or nailed to wood, with hand colored pink cheeks on the portrait to boot. 3 5 8" x 2 7 16" and in very good antique condition.
