I think daguerreotypes of paintings are such special things

with a near old fold line down the center

12 3/8" x 7 11/16" x 5/8" and in very good condition

The green is just radiant

The brighter blue one sits on a short crossbar attached to its long steel post and "flies" pretty straight

This bunch, likely once part of a larger set, have been played with a lot, with scuffs and scratches and dings all over, but I find them very beautiful still and, among them, one small block penciled lightly with a window to more or less mimic the others. With two plain white (ish) sides
