Curious Tiny Hand-painted Porcelain Asian Wise Man on Mound servingware Well worn but stable andI am quite smitten with this tiny, gorgeously hand painted little porcelain man rising from this curious round, unglazed base, but I don't know anything about him. I assume with his bald head, long beard, and colorful kimono, that he represents a Buddhist monk but I really have no idea of his age, and have not found another quite like him. He is certainly quite finely painted and feels to me like a pretty special little piece and surely perching him
