and most definitely it was made quite some time ago with a great deal of care--the wire stitching alone on this piece is quite a spectacular thing: carefully braided along one edge of the bristles

minor paint loss and a little uneveness to the blade edge near the tip

Two kittens in their hat, another in a shoe, and a little dog named Jack sitting behind Maggie looking like a very loyal companion. Plus a basket of fruit, a seated woman in hat ("Fashionable Press," a bit like Anna Wintour sitting in the front row),
