I believe this is most likely late 1980s vintage, and so easy to wear. The silhouette is a simple shift with moderately padded shoulders and three quarter length sleeves. The two piece wrap detail with scalloped edges adds a feminine touch the two sections are attached to the dress at the neckline but are otherwise free floating, creating the illusion of a short vest or capelet.
