Orvis Battenkill 8 1/2' 7-8wt Bamboo Rod 8'6" This traditional Vom-Hofe style S-handleFor sale here is an impregnated Orvis Battenkill 8 1 2' 3 2 7 8wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 14023. Made in February 1953 by George Reid and Cal Skinner and remaining in excellent overall condition. Chestnut brown wraps over medium dark tempered cane. The script remains as clean and bold as the day it was written. Cigar style grip 7" in length with only mild soiling. There are a few small dents in the cork likely from the guides during storage. All
