Mid-Century Watercolor Marsh Landscape with Palms and Cactii, Unsigned architectural as I found one inI believe the landscape pictured here is the Lowcountry of Southern South Carolina and that the gestural, near horizontal branch coming in from the right is of a very old Oak. While I've been really into serene British watercolor seascapes of late, in part for their calming effects, I find this wonderfully immersive and transportive in a different direction, and super satisfying in its lushness; one can almost hear the cicada singing away!
