The rod is in near mint condition with the plastic shrinkwrap still on the grip. However, there are a few micro abrasions in the varnish on the butt section. All sections are full length and straight. Ted Simroe is, of course, a legendary rod builder having worked with the H. L. Leonard Rod Company in the 1960's and 1970's. Handsome light straw
