Frame diameter is 3" and the spool width is 1 3 8". The reel has a very reliable and smooth adjustable disc drum drag. Reel remains in excellent condition, having been used sparingly. It is however missing a screw for the reel foot, although the foot is solidly attached and I cannot make it move, even without the screw.
