I have found documentation of a few standard sets out there made of clay and engraved in just this manner (with individual balls going for $100+ a pop)—but no documentation anywhere of a baseball pockets billiard set that would have contained the 21 ball

but also pretty brilliant

is my particular favorite

but I've never seen another set of these: a double nines set of celluloid "Dainty Dominoes"

The lioness is signed on the underside, looks like Jane Evans to me. The lion shows one repair to the tail and maybe to the right rear haunch (there is a carved incision, though seems it might be original to the making). Who cares, they are fabulous! Lion with mane: 4" l x 2 7 8" t x 1 3 4" d. Lioness: 4" l
