Our first encounter with this map
(Europe - Albania) Provincia Di Albania ~Cat 64 Holiday Offerings~ rivers and key sights toProvincia Di Albania. A very rare and early map for what was Albania. Centered on Durres ("Durazzo") and Tirana ("Croia"), it is a fine copperplate engraving that shows the major towns and rivers with a stylized charm. Christian boats are shown just offshore, as castle's with crescent tops are Turkish holdings. The troops of both are shown to soon meet not far from Tirana. Condition is very good, tipped onto paper.
