and this feels very much of that ilk--as well as reminding me of Victorian pin cushions with phrases spelled out in stick pins that I am forever coveting

Box measures 8 3/4" l x 4 3/4" w x 4 1/16" t and in good

with a little wear to the old wood frame which I'd guess is about the same age

Walter Addison Mid Century Pottery Trivet, Green and Black vintage czech teapot I think the two areI haven't found much on the Walter Addison who made this trivet, except for an auction record for a beautiful ceramic lamp from a Rhode Island estate sold at auction that noted his dates as 1914 1982. I found this and one other, listed separately, together in Connecticut, attributed to him by the seller (the backs are signed simple Addison) and just thought they were lovely. Definitely mid century, with a satisfying matte glaze. I love this one for
