Marvelous 19th Century Hand-colored Paper Dominoes with Animals in Pretty Victorian Box art painted over with what IMy favorite find at the Rhinebeck Antiques show last weekend, this is the earliest set of paper dominoes I've ever seen c 1870s I believe, maybe even earlier, hand colored, and with a marvelous array of animals serving as the dots all so good! There are two cards missing (the 5: 5 and 5: 1) but pretty miraculous the find the deck near complete and sold as found in a lovely paper decorated Victorian box with young woman in blue on front.
