I was thinking this sweet old handmade mini ironing board (about the right size for ironing baby clothes) would make a sweet pedestal  for an arrangement of interesting little objects or weed pots

and even fine lines carved into the palm of the hand

with all of the wire still well attached

then meticulously cut out (the backs are nearly as good as the fronts)

but no flaws at all that I can see

The tin would have once held laurel berries, used since ancient times as astringents, stimulants, and stomachics; applied to insect bites and stings and scalp eruptions(!), and used to treat rheumatism. I love the phrase's associations with higher learning,
