6 5/16” t x 5 3/5” w x 1 1/2” d as it stands and in very good condition

The tile and gnomon are in great condition

but with the first name painted over in black so only the last name

The puppet is made of water buffalo hide

I especially love the “o”s inside of “o”s

Old Jointed Folk Art Dancing Monkey inuit loon 6 5/16” t x 5A curious old jointed monkey, with graphite drawn face and details, and a hole for a dowel at the center of its back, via which it would and could be held aloft and set to dancing. Happily, it is limber at its joints, so easy to position sitting upright, or leaning back on its elbows, or doing a split! Nice age to it, earlyish 20th century I believe, all original with a nice dry wood patina. 10 1 2" t x 4 1 2" widest and in good condition.
