and also those delicate trails of moss emanating (in very orderly fashion
plus yellow wheels of two sizes and metal posts of a range of sizes for connecting them together
almost all filled front and back

Betty & Ed, 1943, Presumed Trench Art Dagger-like Decorated Letter Opener victorian pins with a quick search turningI'm pretty certain this dagger like letter opener is a work of trench art, and one certainly made as a sweetheart gift for Betty, from Ed, in 1943. With B for Betty again on the reverse side, encircled twice in the tiny dots decorating both sides of it all over, which look to me to have been burned into the surface using a very fine point. I can never walk away from something like this, so much earnest effort and affection invested in it! Found in
