Antique Pennsylvania Folk Art Painted Panel with Hex Stars alebrije deer 8 1/2" l x 5Just beautiful, with these super graphic yellow and black hex stars just totally doing it for me. Lots has been written about the Pennsylvania Dutch use of these complex geometric, heavenly inspired stars on the sides of barns and far beyond, and I do think they capture both a magical sort of wonder and a sense of universal order. I presume this was once a panel door on a piece of furniture, or perhaps the slide lid on a very long box. 19 3 4" x 10 1
