I have put a matte over it approximately matching the cream color of the paper and put it in a simple

5" long with corkscrew

wine and cheeses

but still reads bright and crisp

they are just beautiful

Hand-carved Reclining Nude Draped in Bedsheets wood handle knife I have put a matteI don't know a thing about the origins of this carved sculpture (which I don't think photos quite do justice), but I think it is pretty terrific. My guess is that it is American, and her face and fantastic mane give it a late 60s early 70s feel to me, but I am really not sure. I love the way her hair wraps around all three sides of the sculpture, echoed by the deeply carved lines of the sheet draped over and around her. But perhaps what I love most
