The frame has a hairline crack by the rotating nickel silver line guide and there are a couple of small chips on the frame edge as well

but you can still see the Eagle Claw stamp on the thumb rest

The rod features an unsanded blank rolled from S-glass with transparent burgundy wraps and gold tipping at the winding check and ferrules

The tool and kit are in excellent condition considering their age. There is a small hole in the box from the thumbscrew on the tool. The "Thinner" bottle is empty but the "Cement" bottle is more than half full. A very neat piece of fly fishing and fly tying history. Would make a great display item, although it could still be used.
