I've seen a close match of this child's cup described as Staffordshire

with incised round eyes on either side of the head and a shell pattern on his back

it's got a super earthy feel and reminds me of the pottery that surrounded me in my youth

but it feels special

Two (Large Doll Scale) Old Handmade Chairs And Bench clay figures I've seen a close matchI'd guess this old pair of chairs and bench were lovingly custom built for a group of rag dolls (I've included one photo of an 11 inch tall doll seated very happily on the bench for scale). I love the lines and old paint, which is now a sort of creamy taupe, and if not displaying a few favorite dolls, think they'd be great just set on a shelf interspersed with studio pottery or other folk art furniture.
