I found this last week in New Hampshire

I just can't resist naive floral watercolors like this one

I would guess they date from the 1940s or so

SPY, Antique Brass Apple Crate Stencil lunch box but I haven't been ableI'm not so much interested in old apple crate stencils for their own sake, but rather ones bearing evocative words, which also happen to be varieties of apples, with SPY being a perfect case in point! All sorts of interesting contexts to hang this one in, perhaps right next to the binoculars! 7 x 3 1 16" and in good antique condition, clearly much used, with darkening to the surface of brass.
