Very finely made

8 1/4" x 4" x 5/8" as mounted to wood block via nice bit fat nails

I also really like the  make shift quality of the set up

and the shadows cast by the masts and sails of the ship

Very Limber Old Jig Woman with Wonderful Face and Sculptural Hair key minder Sold in the lovely antiqueI really love her smiling face, but hard to beat the side view showing off her sculptural helmet of hair, fisted hands with detailed fingers, and chunky books so I put that photo first. She was made as a jig doll, with a hole in her back into which a dowel would be inserted in order to hold her up and set her dancing and she's quite a dancer indeed, with every joint limber and every inch of her just waiting to move. Certainly less common to find
