I purchased this very charming carved Western Meadowlark from a seller in Kansas--as it should be

and beautifully aged over lots of years

and in 1922 they began stamping each piece with the circular Jugtown Ware stamp

and then this perfect pencil drawn eye bringing it to life

And quite a proud looking eagle I'd say, which I'll take it as standing tall for democracy. 11 1 4 x 6 5 8 w x 4d. Very good condition, c. 1930s, with general light surface wear and minor scuffs here and there as seems quite right. Stands sturdy and flush.
