Sweet Family of Carved Animals Mary Rand from the same period II found these together in a box, clearly carved by the same maker, and I believe the same maker as a bunch of heads chess pieces carved of old wood spools, listed separately. I love the whole lot of these, but it makes me especially happy that there is a tiny turtle smiling among them!
