or at least that it once had string reins drawn from nose to saddle on either side

but I have not been able to figure out what

but not to the lid

with the cream of the board showing stains here and there

Found Face Museum of Modern Art Arp 12 x 5 1/16 andI think may have been an anode used in a car, which I only know through searching for its likeness. I just love it as a found face, which reads wide eyed happy attentive from one side, and sad horrified from the other! Cast of metal, with a nicely aged, craggy sort of surface that makes it read more like concrete now. With a strangely intense sculptural presence! 3 5 8 x 3 1 8 t x1 1 2 d. Aging as evident, all to the good.
