The rod is in very good overall condition with the exception of a crude varnish touch up repair to the snake guide on the butt section and the original tip-top appears to have been replaced at some point

All sections are full length and one tip has a very slight set

Peerless Model 2A Fly Reel 8'5" well suited for a DT4For sale here is a Peerless 2A fly reel. Designed for a 5 or 6 weight line. 3 1 4" diameter. The reel weighs 5. 3 oz. The reel's line capacity is a DT6 plus 40 yards of backing. The prior owner had the handle mechanism attached incorrectly and thus there are rub marks from it making contact with the anodized faceplate. The reel has been made right now mechanically and therefore these marks are simply a cosmetic afterthought.
